RFID in the food trade: From pilot to operational reality

RFID in the food trade is not a simple transfer from fashion. Grocery has different requirements: high frequency, large quantities of goods, tight margins, many product types, freshness, liquids, packaging variety, promotional goods, self-checkout, checkout risks, reusables and high operational speed.
Nevertheless, RFID is becoming more relevant in the food trade.
